About your team

As a Finance, Legal & Ops team, we are business partners in Eneba. By cooperating and supporting the organization in finance and accounting topics we strive to enable growth, optimize and improve the current internal processes. At the same time we act as strategic advisors whose input helps shape the roadmap of product teams.

As Head of Finance, you will lead and scale the finance organization, spanning FP&A, treasury, and a Business Analysts hub embedded within product teams. This is a hands-on build role, where you will establish key finance capabilities from scratch while growing and mentoring the team. We are looking for someone who thrives both as a people leader and as an individual contributor driving high-impact initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the finance team and the Business Analysts hub - hire, develop, and manage performance.

  • Build the treasury function from scratch - cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, payment prioritisation, cash pool strategy, and working capital management.

  • Set FX policy and hedging strategy for the group; oversee execution by the FP&A team.

  • Own all banking relationships - negotiate products and deals with banks and partners, manage account infrastructure, and drive operational banking processes.

  • Own financial reporting to the board - prepare and deliver accurate, insightful board reporting packages.

  • Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to senior management to support business decisions and growth initiatives.

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; review and challenge financial models and business cases prepared by the FP&A team.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards relevant to the finance function.

  • Partner with product, commercial, and operational teams to provide financial guidance and support decision-making.

  • Develop and improve finance processes as the product evolves and new business lines are introduced.

  • Set the direction for AI adoption and process automation within the finance function; lead implementation of automation initiatives across finance workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or any other related field.

  • 7+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years managing teams. Comfortable operating as a high-level individual contributor on strategic projects while simultaneously building and leading a growing team.

  • Strong business acumen - ability to understand business in detail, ask the right questions, and get to root causes rather than treating symptoms.

  • Proficient in financial modelling, budgeting, and board-level reporting.

  • Experience with ERP systems and financial planning tools.

  • AI-first mindset - actively uses AI tools in daily work and sees automation as the default, not the exception.

  • Exceptional time management, task ownership, and prioritization skills.

  • Fluency in both English and Lithuanian (written and spoken).

  • Experience in treasury, cash management, FX risk management, or hedging strategies would be a plus.

  • Experience in a high-growth tech, marketplace, or e-commerce company - energised by building, not just maintaining.
