Ridwell is a recycling service that collects hard-to-recycle plastics, reusable items, and other materials that curbside recycling does not accept, directly from members' doors on a bi-weekly basis, and also offers a mail-in service for such items. The company connects these materials with local and national partners that can reuse or recycle them sustainably, and it shows members what their items become. The service is available across a growing network of US cities, with pickups starting at $20 per month and mail-in service starting at $9 per bag. Ridwell's future plans include making zero waste a reality for millions.

The work is on site and in front of customers, installing, servicing and repairing real equipment. At an early startup you are also the person who reports back on what keeps failing. Large employers give you a route and a dispatcher, while here the route is still being worked out.
