Join the team behind one of the Lake District’s most exciting culinary destinations. SOURCE at the Gilpin offers a Michelin-starred, 4 AA Rosette experience rooted in exquisite produce, bold flavours, and precise execution. We’re looking for a Senior Waiter who shares our passion for friendly, exceptional service and storytelling throughout the culinary journey. 

🍽️ Your Role as Senior Waiter:

• Leads the section with confidence, grace, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Delivers seamless, warm and personalised service that enhances the guest journey.

• Collaborates closely with the kitchen, sommeliers, and front-of-house team to create unforgettable moments.

• Maintains impeccable standards of presentation and etiquette.

• Contributes to a culture of excellence, learning, and genuine care.

• Uphold the highest standards of etiquette, presentation, and professionalism.

Qualifications

🎓 What You Bring:

• Experience in Michelin-starred or fine dining environments.

• Deep understanding of food, wine, and service protocol.

• A calm, charismatic presence and a genuine love for hospitality.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• A desire to grow within a forward-thinking, modern restaurant built around using local produce with a twist.

Salary: from £30,654 to £32,292

Gratuities are allocated on a points basis, depending on development tiers. Although variable, average levels are projected as being from £351 to £526 per month.
