Internship Product Builder (m/w/d) job description

Summary

Munich (in-office)  ·  Full-time  ·  3-6 months  ·  Start October 2026

We're looking for someone who can join us for a 3 to 6-month internship. Availability to work from our Munich office alongside the team is essential, as  the close, hands-on collaboration is a big part of what makes this role work.

Your mission

This is not a "shadow a senior PM" internship. Sitting at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer discovery, you’ll own ideas end-to-end from week one.
The Building Radar Jeane team is building the AI layer that turns B2B construction sales from manual to proactive and intelligent - and you’ll actively decide what that looks like. You’ll leverage AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) to rapidly build, test, and plug new features into our ecosystem to unlock real value loops. We don’t care about which tools you use and more that you pick the right ones to ship fast.
  • Idea to Prototype: Translate hypotheses from customers, product, sales, and CS into working prototypes within days, not months - using AI-assisted coding as your superpower.
  • Validate with Real Users: Run lightweight experiments with internal stakeholders and selected customers to test whether an idea actually creates value.
  • Build for Real Usage: Take prototypes from "it works on my machine" to "sufficiently stable" so we can track real usage and learn from production data.
  • Plug into Jeane: Connect your builds to the Jeane ecosystem (APIs, data, agents) so each experiment compounds into the larger product.
  • Close the Loop: Instrument what you ship, surface insights, and feed learnings back into the Jeane roadmap.
  • Be a Discovery Partner: Talk to customers and internal users, observe how they work, and turn observations into the next prototype.

Your profile

  • Background: A technical/tech-affine background or degree is a plus (e.g., computer science, business informatics, or related). Whether you are in your Bachelor's, Master's -  your skills and mentality matter most.
  • Builder mindset: high energy, strong ownership, and a bias for shipping prototypes fast.
  • Languages: Native or fluent German (C1/C2) is required, as you will interact directly with our German customers. Fluent English is our internal team language.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding for product prototypes (Claude Code, Cursor, v0, Lovable, or similar).
  • Broad prototyping range across the stack (TypeScript/Python, basic frontend, APIs, light data work) - depth less important than speed and versatility.
  • Strong product sense: you optimize for the user problem, not just the code.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and scoping fuzzy ideas into usable artifacts.
  • Bonus Points (Tech): Exposure to AI agent frameworks, LLM tooling/evals, production instrumentation, or previous startup/side projects where you’ve already shipped working code.
  • Bonus Points (Business): First experience in a customer- or stakeholder-facing role, helping you translate user feedback directly into product iterations.
Hands-on experience & personal projects: You have already independently built or programmed something of your own—whether it's a small fitness app, a vacation tracker, or a productivity tool. Please include a short description of your project with your application (ideally with a link, screenshots, a Loom demo, or access credentials) so we can get a direct feel for your practical approach.

Why us?

  • Real ownership from week one: Your name is on what you ship. You own the experiment, ship the prototype, talk to the customer - no ticket queues, no "wait till Q3".
  • Access to what you need to succeed: Top-tier AI coding stack out of the gate – Claude Code, Cursor, frontier LLMs, our internal SDKs, and the data and APIs to plug into. If a tool helps you ship faster, we'll get it.
  • Direct line to real customers: Sit in on calls with sales, CS, and our German-speaking customers. Your prototypes meet real users - not internal demos.
  • Mentorship from builders: Pair directly with colleagues from product, engineering and the founders - your Buddy makes sure you're never stuck.
  • Shape the revolution: We're rewriting B2B sales for a $12T industry in the GenAI era. An internship that let´s you touch a product Bosch and Holcim actually use.
  • In-office culture with flexibility: We love the energy in our Munich office, where we collaborate closely daily. However, if you need a deep-work day from home now and then, that’s absolutely fine.
  • Sport is our passion: In-house gym plus EGYM Wellpass (we cover 50%+). Ship hard, recover harder.
  • Cool events: Mountain weekends, Oktoberfest, off-sites, go-kart racing - we celebrate what we ship.
