Your role as Warehouse Employee

You'll be part of our Warehouse team at Schiphol-Rijk. Together with your colleagues, you make sure incoming and outgoing air freight shipments are handled, stored, and prepared correctly, always according to applicable air freight security regulations.

This is a 40-hour-per-week position, with a preferred daily start time of 7:00 AM — both are negotiable and open for discussion.

What you’ll be doing

• Unloading, loading, and internally moving air freight shipments;

• Checking, sorting, and labeling goods for accuracy and completeness;

• Carefully storing shipments in the secured warehouse, following applicable air freight security procedures;

• Preparing shipments for shipping or delivery;

• Flagging and reporting discrepancies or damage to your team leader;

Requirements

What you’ll bring

• You're a self-starter: you don't wait around, you see work and get it done;

• You're flexible, including outside regular office hours where needed;

• You're willing to apply for a Declaration of No Objection (VGB) -required to work independently in our secured air freight warehouse;

• You're precise and work according to safety regulations, even when it's busy;

• You're a team player who also takes responsibility independently;

• You speak Dutch and/or English.
