Head of Conversion job description
About Viktor
Viktor is the AI teammate. He lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams, connects to thousands of tools, and does real work for real companies: finance, marketing, ops, engineering. We're building the product that replaces half the SaaS stack.
The team is small. The scope is not.
The Short Version
You own every pixel and word across all Viktor’s user journeys. You’ll run a real CRO program to optimise all touchpoints. The program will be embedded in growth principles, deep understanding of different user groups, friction points, and stack rank of biggest opportunities to convert more paying customers. You’ll need to move at startup speed: landing pages, signup flows, experiments, data analysis. You’ll be used to working autonomously among a small but talented team of growth generalists. You’ll be fine with changing priorities and being opportunistic, going where the upside is.
What's Actually Going On Here
Viktor has a diverse range of user groups who sign up and derive huge value from the product. We currently attract those signups from channels like paid advertising, influencer marketing, organic and direct traffic. There is a lot of opportunity to better customise these user journeys to scale and improve conversion rates across the funnel. Across our paid advertising program alone, every point of conversion lift is six figures of ARR, and right now nobody owns it end-to-end: landing pages, funnel optimization, CRO, site IA. You'll be the first.
What You'll Actually Do
Own the entire CRO program: Identify the biggest opportunities across all user journeys to increase conversion lift, and be able to go after those opportunities proactively.
Partner with our paid acquisition team to improve performance of their campaigns: Every paid sub-segment gets its own surface that exists, and converts, before the spend turns on. You direct it end-to-end: positioning, copy, structure, design direction, build path.
Run CRO experimentation. Real hypotheses: pricing framing, hero claims, social proof, funnel sequencing.
Own the signup funnel, from click to the moment the user hits signup.
Own site information architecture. Work with our PMM to ensure the website is a high converting asset for Viktor.
Partner tightly with paid. You read the campaigns yourself, spot where the leak is (creative, LP, offer, audience), and close it.
Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the rest of the team. They'll have opinions; you'll have the data on what converts.
The Bar
This role is 1.5 jobs if you don't prioritize ruthlessly. You'll be measured on shipping velocity, conversion lift, and CAC efficiency. You’ll get to set the playbook because there isn't one yet.
Day-1 Reality
Week 1: Map out core user journeys, identify main friction points, stack rank experiments you want to run.
How You'll Know It's Working
30 days: User journeys audited, friction points, stack ranked, experiments live, some wins, a lot of learnings.
60 days: A scalable CRO program is live, deeply embedded in Viktor’s Marketing/Growth engine. Incremental gains have been achieved across most pressing opportunities (likely Paid, Website, Influencer)
90 days: CRO program has scaled to hyper-niche verticals allowing Viktor to create niche user journeys via an AI system at scale.
Who You Are
3-7 years as a growth professional, clear portfolio of wins attributed to you.
You’re able to map and audit user journeys e.g. for paid funnels you can tell us where the money is leaking: creative, audience, LP, offer, or post-click flow.
You write copy that converts. You know what a high-intent B2B buyer needs in the first eight seconds, with test data to prove it.
CRO rigor. Power calculations, hypothesis framing, real reads on real tests.
Taste. Your LPs don't look like templates.
Operator instinct. You don't wait to be unblocked; you decide, brief, and get it live.
Founder mentality. You're building a function, not inheriting one.
EU primary (Warsaw, Paris, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Stockholm, Istanbul). NYC secondary.
Why This Role Is Different
No layers. No web manager, no CRO consultant between you and the work. You own the surface.
The work you ship defines how Viktor's paid economics work. At this spend, a great LP versus a good one is real money every week.
The product makes the pitch easier. The demo closes when the right buyer gets to it; your job is the eight seconds before.
The Co-Founders already believe conversion is strategic. No convincing anyone it matters.
Even Better If
You've built a vertical-LP playbook from scratch with the conversion data to show it worked.
You've owned a rebrand or domain migration without tanking conversion.
You've worked where founders had strong brand opinions and you loved partnering on it.
You've scaled a paid funnel through a 2-3x spend increase without CAC blowing up.
How we work
Small team, high trust, low process. Decisions are made by owners, not committees. You will ship your first week. You will talk to users your first day.
We don't do alignment meetings or stakeholder syncs. We build things, see if they work, and iterate.
Why Viktor
We're one of the fastest-growing companies in the world. The product works. The market is pulling.
This is a rare window: everyone here owns something real. Not a task. A surface of the company that customers depend on.
That doesn't last forever. Right now, it's still true.
Compensation
Top-of-the-market salary and the kind of ownership that only exists at this stage.
The best work happens when you're in the room. Munich, New York, Dublin, and Warsaw. Remote for some roles.
