Founding Technology Leader job description
Shape the technology and engineering team behind an AI-native commerce platform.
Everest Core is the starting point for our shared operating, data and intelligence backbone. You will lead its development, working directly with the people who run our companies to build technology that becomes useful infrastructure in their daily work.
What you will build
Own technical architecture, engineering standards and the delivery roadmap.
Connect reliable data, business context and AI-assisted workflows.
Build permissions, approvals, observability and recovery into the platform.
Develop a small, capable engineering team and prioritise work by its operating value.
The opportunity
Define the technical foundations of a platform that connects digital intelligence with physical commerce, from customer interactions to inventory, suppliers and finance.

Requirements
Hands-on experience designing and delivering reliable software, data platforms or business-critical systems.
Experience leading engineers and setting practical architecture, security and delivery standards.
Sound judgment about AI and automation, including how to evaluate reliability, permissions and operating value.
