Loora is on a mission to revolutionize education and break down language barriers with its cutting-edge AI, building the first-ever personal AI English tutor. Loora offers its users an AI tutor that is always available to talk about whatever they want, give immediate feedback on English skills, and guide them on their journey to fluency.

We're looking for a Frontend Engineer to build our Web products. The web is a first-class product surface for us, powering our core AI English learning product, Business dashboards, and user acquisition initiatives. You'll own features end-to-end, from Figma to shipped, performant UI, collaborating closely with design, product, and non-technical stakeholders.

What you'll do:

  • Build and ship core product features across our core AI English tutor web experience alongside to acquisition funnels, dashboards, SEO and our company site

  • Turn Figma designs into clean, accurate, responsive UI

  • Extend and improve our internal component library

  • Partner directly with designers, PMs, and non-technical stakeholders to shape and refine features

  • Continuously improve web and mobile-web performance — load time, rendering, bundle size

  • Own test coverage for the features you build

  • Make technical tradeoffs independently and drive decisions in your area

  • Incorporate AI/agentic coding tools into your day-to-day workflow

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of frontend experience, ideally on high-traffic consumer products

  • Proven experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js, you've shipped and maintained production apps at scale

  • Strong CSS Modules and modern CSS (Grid, animations, transitions, custom properties)

  • An eye for design and high-fidelity Figma-to-code execution

  • Experience building or maintaining an internal component library or design system ideally with Storybook

  • Solid understanding of web/mobile-web performance and the tradeoffs involved

  • Experience with testing, including e2e testing with Playwright

  • Strong communication skills, comfortable working directly with designers, PMs, and non-engineers, and giving/receiving feedback

  • Willingness to dip into backend/Python codebases when needed to unblock your own work

  • Hands-on experience using AI/agentic coding tools in real production workflows

  • Good product sense

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with a headless CMS (Strapi or similar)

  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools (Statsig, LaunchDarkly, GrowthBook, PostHog)

  • Familiarity with Analytics/tracking infrastructure (Mixpanel, attribution)
