A senior professional audio expert with 10+ years of experience in networked pro audio systems, ready to help shape the development and deployment of future solutions. This role combines technical depth; undertaking & reviewing system designs, with hands-on involvement in system configuration, loudspeaker testing, and deployment. The ideal candidate works structurally, communicates confidently with senior technical stakeholders, and takes ownership naturally.Main objectives of the role
In this role, you will leverage your extensive application experience in system design, configuration, and deployment to help pioneer the development of future solutions and bring these to life. The successful candidate will directly undertake & review design solutions, contribute industry expertise to defined commercial and business topics, and support core delivery processes in the fieldYour role and responsibilities
Apply established best practices for the design and configuration of networked pro audio systems, including using proprietary design and configuration tools
Undertake system design and analysis work directly, from concept through execution
Provide review and identify improvement opportunities for system designs created by others, drawing on your experience and knowledge of industry best practice
Own loudspeaker test planning and execution, including equipment setup and scheduling
Provide cross-functional technical expertise to enhance product development, testing, configuration, and deployment
Work closely with internal technical experts across engineering, software, and hardware teams in a like-for-like technical dialogue, ensuring clear, structured communication
Support system setup processes including health & safety considerations, system configuration, and stock/equipment management
Maintain broad awareness of third-party professional audio products and ecosystems
Contribute to internal documentation, workflows, and quality standards
Provide mentorship within the business on core technical topics and industry best practices
What you need to succeed in this role
Minimum 10 years’ experience in the professional audio industry, with background at a system integrator, manufacturer, or rental house
Strong experience with complex audio systems
Familiarity with industry-standard tools for system design and configuration, and venue health & safety standards
Demonstrated ability to set up, commission, and tune advanced loudspeaker systems
Extensive industry experience with the ability to handle meetings and technical discussions independently
Proven responsibility for health & safety. Compliant physical system setup, including risk awareness, safe working practices, and adherence to site and venue regulations during installation and commissioning
Comfortable with hands-on system work, including rack configuration, loudspeaker rigging, cabling, and physical signal connections
Professional communication skills, including written documentation, presentations, and technical reporting
Fluent in English
